Never have i come across such a honest, hard hitting no nonsense corporate blog in Malaysia. I’ve only read about it in US and also from WIRED magazine so far so imagine my surpise when i read this blog. Reapfield’s corporate blog is mostly on the Telco, VOIP industry (who is killing who, who made the latest “WANG”,etc..etc…) .

SYABAS – Part 2 & End

After weeks and tons of emails back and forth with PUSPEL (customer service dept or arm of SYABAS), i present to you a DUMMIES GUIDE TO TALKING WITH PUSPEL

1) If your water bill is extremly high for some reason – do this test – When your family goes to sleep, record the water meter outside your house. Make sure during the night NO ONE uses the water from the TAP, so use pails or water drums for the night.

2) Morning – check the water meter and see how far the it moved.

3) Call Puspel and get a list of authorised plumbers to check for the leak.

WHY NOT call puspel ? they will NOT enter or check the plumbing in your house.

So how was the customer service from PUSPEL ? I have to say, if you plan to email them, you better be prepared to WAIT for a few days just to get a reply. I only managed to get a reply after 2 days and THAT IS BECAUSE I HAVE A FRIEND THAT WORKS IN SYABAS THAT HELP ME ESCALATE MY CASE!!!!!!!!

ALL in all, very very bad and slow response from PUSPEL. Who knows, if the Selangor State Govt plans to buy over SYABAS via Puncak Niaga might help improve things a bit.

MAS – Enrich Online

Now this is a very interesting topic.

I tried to sign up for MAS loyalty program/frequent flyer miles (Enrich) online today :

There are two steps for you to register to be a member – the 1st step requires you to key in all your details and then it brings you to step 2, which is the shown below.

so, there are businesses in malaysia and THEN there are businesses??? what the Fuck man??

yeah…i was confused as hell. i think i need to get a PHD doctorate or something to figure out why MAS list out TWO business categories. so, i ignored this and tried to complete the form and guess what happened?

Anyways, Michelin Malaysia sent me a reply today…

Hmm…so what do i think? Well, the reply came really LATE (3 weeks?!) but for them to even reply at all is suprising for me. I was however expecting to at least see a human person name replying this email, so its not so corporate/robotic.
