Msia Airport Express train VS HK Airport Express train
yeah, what a farking long title!
anyways – ive been travelling a lot recently bcos of work and this brings to various countries and i get to experience how things work everywhere else. One interesting thing that i noticed early is our train service from city to the airport.
In Malaysia, you have to take the KLIA Express, which travels from KL sentral to the airport in 28min. It costs RM35 one way which is cheap, compared to HK (RM50 one way). If you have ever board KLIA express, you will noticed that the amount of space allocated for luggages is really limited to certain quarters only. If you are travelling with big luggages, you will face problem like the pic below

yeah, see that? you have lift up your 20kg luggages up to the "special compartment"
Compare this with HK’s Airport express :

See? easy peasy and there are at least another 3 spots like this for tourist like me to put my big bags!
The other nice touch about HK Airport express is the big LCD screen they put up and a destination indicator, so people know where they are and when they can drop off.

location/destination indicator...pretty cool

big lcd screen so you dun have to squint your eyes out
oh yeah, HK Airport express also have 1 to 2 QUIET cabins, where the LCD tvs and trains do not have any speakers playing music or anything else, which is a nice touch.

Wong “Cock” Char Chan Teng(Cafe)
Ok, before you squirm at the title, this is not a blog about food. There are already 2.8 million malaysian blogs on food and i never liked or read any one of them. never.
I was forced to go to this place as my wife friends set the meeting place and as you know with all these “HONGKIE” restaurants ( im not a racist and i know a lot of hong kong people dont like to be called hongkie but what should we name you? hong hong? kong tow? ) the service is extremely bad, food is mediocre at best and the price is always high. So im not even gonna waste my time blogging about them but decided to present to you……
