Garden’s Club edm
I recently got an email (26th July) from gardens (the shopping mall) club and it didnt seem quite right….
yeah….the alignment is totally off. A big boo boo from gardens BUT WAIT! this is not the end of the story! 1 day later, i got the SAME email resent again by Gardens
good stuff guys. 1 day turnaround to fix the edm problem!
Air Pollution?
Hello guys
i dont know if you have noticed this but lately the weather is really terrible. Its always hazy and the last i check on the DOE’s API reading on their website, it doesnt seem to match the bad air quality at my place!
Yesterday’s API index & Picture from my condo :

On a normal day, i can see KL Tower and KLCC.....and the API reading yesterday was 72

on a normal day, i can see midvalley clearly
and here are the pics i took this morning. as you can see, it is really hazy!

yeah, if you SQUINT your eyes really hard, you should be able to see midvalley,kl tower and klcc in the pics. My advice, please dont spend so much time outdoor and drink plenty of water. Also, when you do have the time, please check the DOE API reading on their website (link here )
OH ! SUSHI! (Midvalley)

Oh yeah, this has gotta be the best japanese restaurant in midvalley.
Went there weeks back with friends and colleagues- ordered tons of food and halfway through our meal, we ran into this :

yes, its a cockroach...
Yup, this cockroach just ran right up to our table and my friends (gals) just started screaming! i killed it, and asked for the manager. This lady, who is dressed differently from everyone else in the restaurant came and below was our conversation
Lady X : Yes sir? the manager is not in.
Me: Can you explain to me what is this?
Lady X : Cockroach lor….
Me and my friends was stunned by her nonchalant reply…so i pressed on :
Me: so what are you going to do about this?
Lady X : Nothing i can do.
Me: so you dont even bother to apologize or anything?
Lady X : Nothing i can do sir. if you not happy, you can report to my manager .
Me : So you dont mind if i report this to the media?
Lady X :Go ahead. report lah.
Yes. that was the EXACT conversation. all my friends was stunned by lady x’s reply to us. If this was a mamak next to the drain, i would understand but at an expensive japanese restaurant @ midvalley? we were all too baffled to continue our lunch and we decided to leave and thats was when the MANAGER came to visit us. He kept on apologizing about the cockroach but it was really the attitude of the staff that ruined our lunch. The manager kept insisting to give us a 20% discount but i declined. End of the day, we are not complaining just to get the paltry discount.
So, if you guys are planning to have japanese food in midvalley, i suggest you visit sushi zanmai (gardens) or pasta zanmai(midvalley) instead!
ps: Yeah, if you google OH SUSHI midvalley, you can see quite a few people blogging about how the food and service quality has gone downhill over the years. so please avoid this place unless you wanna meet lady x and some nice cockroaches in your meal.
VV Group
Boy, do i have a great story for you guys.
I really made a mistake in buying a samsung u700 at VV Group midvalley months back. It was a rush purchase and almost closing time too. The price went down almost RM300 the week after! Talk about buyers remorse. Still, i would have appreciated if the staff could at least inform me about the upcoming promo and let me decide if i wanted to buy the phone.
During the 2 months, the battery failed ( i had to send back to FMG to replace) and then the bundled 2GB memory card went Kaput after that. I sent in the memory card back to VV Group Midvalley outlet (11th June 2008) to claim/replace a new one and guess what ? I AM STILL WAITING FOR IT!! ALREADY 2 MONTHS!!! WTF!?
Worst part is when we asked about status, the midvalley outlet will ask us to call workshop in ampang to check for status and then push around back to midvalley. FCUK MAN….
Anyways, VV Group have a COMPLAIN “HOT”LINE number ( 03-2711 1188) and i can guess why. I spoke to the customer service lady Ms Manja and after speaking to her, she said she will check and update me in 1 hours time (because the midvalley outlet not opened yet) .
This is what i think she will respond to me :
1) The memory card is already in midvalley. Please Collect Sir. case closed.
2) Sir, the memory card is STILL in claim process. We are waiting for FMG/Samsung bla bla bla….
Lets see what happens next…
