I tried to sign up for MAS loyalty program/frequent flyer miles (Enrich) online today :
There are two steps for you to register to be a member – the 1st step requires you to key in all your details and then it brings you to step 2, which is the shown below.
yeah…i was confused as hell. i think i need to get a PHD doctorate or something to figure out why MAS list out TWO business categories. so, i ignored this and tried to complete the form and guess what happened?
Pissed. Angry. Time wasted. Thats all i could think of. So what did i do? I emailed to their ENRICH support email and KABOOM! In 5 min the email reply from MAS Sys Admin :
Yeah, what the fuck indeed. The online registration doesnt work. The email support is also screwed up. Now im kinda scared to fly with MAS. Ive already wasted enough time trying to register or get help from MAS (not to mention to write this post in my blog!) but im gonna try one last time, to contact MAS customer service instead. I will keep you guys posted!

I got around the “fill-up” the address in line 1 when it’s already filled. Yeah I know stupid fucks who coded that didnt think properly at all. I was pissed too but I tried to outsmart the webform. My address was A-8-8, I had it entered as A 8 8. I was able to register. After successfully registered, I updated my account’s address and I was able to do so.
I share your frustrations. Try lodging complaint via the customer feedback form, you will encounter more frustrations. MAS online system is not tested properly and is poorly designed. To make matters worst their complaint operations is inefficient. All in All MAS operations is unable to support its ambitious marketing plans.
What’s new with MAS!! Do you guys know what MAS mean? Not Malaysia Airline System but ‘Mana Ada Sistem’ in Malay. Direct translation means ‘Where Have System’. Now I hope you guys understand and stop complaining. MAS did not do anything wrong, they kept to their word by having confusing and frustrating system is exactly what they set out to do as they name suggested.
So I suggest you guys look for another airline if you don’t like how they set their system. Let me give you a hint, AirAsia online booking is much much more user friendly. Why? Because it is truly privately operated, unlike MAS is quasi government owned, so expect too much organised system because they DON’T HAVE A SYSTEM!!!!!

That was a few minutes of entertainment. How stupid are these people. Do they not think it’s strange that a MAS website would have wood panels as their website background…you should seriously consider the phishing option just for fun.
Wondering if I should even bother with this Enrich thing.
I am actually using your blog for some research on customer service. I have to comment to you on this, your blog is very resourceful (albeit the language but it is understandable due to your frustrations).
Also, the reason why I am writing is because how humorous it is for those guys to ask you about their enrich points. Boy, if you were a hacker, you probably could transfer their enrich points into your own account!

everthing was working ‘fine” until some some new IT grad decides to revamp the whole online system . i have not even gone past the LOGON stage…inspite of me changing my password…they send me some new password and it does not work…
i am so fed up of it.
i decided the present myself at the mas office and the man there tried to help but was just as stumped as i was and apologied saying that it was a new system that was just set up.

All that I got from them was “We will process the claim for you”. That was 2 years ago – by a personnel named Angel. I will NOT recommend MAS to any of my mates in Australia. Its a disgrace to have MAS as a national airline.

I was googling to find if there is a way to know my Enrich membership status (‘cos I cannot for the life of me remember the no. and if it’s still valid) and your blog entry popped up in the search results.
The comments section is HILARIOUS (but I am also a tad irritated as to how come people could be SO DUMB). Not only did they not read the blog post, they also did not really read the comments as there are several people have commented about this..but right after that, someone else would put up their personal details requesting for customer support.
You could actually consider selling their information to spammers 😛
Nyah, I am not so mean to sell their info to make money. just hope some MAS managers to pick this up by now u think..

I went through the whole registration process for Enrich, completed it but was never given my membership number. I emailed Malaysia Airlines but never recieved a reply. I ended up ringing from Australia to Malaysia and spoke to a consultant pretty quickly who gave me my membership number. When I tried logging in with the number he gave me I kept getting the message that this member number does not exist. So Have given up.
It’s quite interesting to see how so many people are genuinely upset with ‘Mana-Ada-System’ and are leaving their details here for you…. I also googled looking for a simple Cust Svs # to get my Enrich card replaced… I’ll write to them and see if I ever get a response… ur first comment was close to 4 yrs ago… looks like this one article can go for many many more years… ;p

Points are only earned in the name of the cardholder and booking name. so your family need their own enrich membership
