You know, communicating your promos through online social media is a great idea. The media is FREE and the only setup costs involved is your time. Firefly is one of the budget airlines that is actively promoting through social media such as facebook and twitter. So i wasnt surprised to see their latest 50% off flight ticks to Singapore. i immediately went to their website and i see this :
so login into facebook to get the promo code and guess what ….the promo code is nowhere to be found! it seems like the instructions were unclear as to where or how the promo code was distributed and everyone was frustrated (including me)!
Anyways, that was around 4pm++ and when i logged in just now…i saw this message –
what i cant understand is,why cant they just message everyone on facebook that there was an issue instead of just a normal status message? this is a very bad call firefly, very lame. Hey Firefly- go and check what SONY Msia did with facebook before and learn a trick or two will ya?
